BROWN VENUS DRESS

A strapless floor-length evening dress in dark brown velvet. A straight velvet band forms the bust, and below it a wide panel of black floral lace over black mesh wraps the whole midriff and waist. The long velvet skirt is sewn directly onto the bottom edge of the lace along a gently diagonal seam, sitting slightly higher on one side, with soft pleats and gathers at the seam and plain velvet flowing to the floor. The same three-band construction runs front and back, with the lace wrapping all the way around.
